Since 1970, The Law Offices of Alan Ellis has had as its goal the securing for their clients the lowest possible sentence, and if it is one of incarceration, to be served at the best possible facility, with release at the earliest opportunity. The firm has a nationwide practice, with regional offices in San Francisco and Philadelphia.

The Law Offices of Alan Ellis is one of a handful of law firms nationwide whose practice is limited to federal sentencing and federal post conviction work. In a 2002 published court decision, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in California described Alan Ellis as “a nationally recognized expert in federal criminal sentencing.” United States v. Walters, 309 F.3d 589, 591 (9th Cir. 2002)

The firm regularly consults with criminal defense lawyers around the country regarding pleas, sentencing, prison and other post-conviction concerns. It relies on highly qualified and experienced attorney and criminal justice professionals to help me fully evaluate and prepare every case. The Law Offices of Alan Ellis accepts only those cases that it believes have merit and give their clients a reasonable chance of success.
